BPW’s Livewire
Electric! That is the electrifying theme for Battleground Pro Wrestling’s Livewire event. Set against an atmosphere charged with excitement and unpredictability, this innovative graphics package serves as the visual backbone for BPW’s inaugural wave of episodic content. Filming is scheduled to take place at a new venue with historic ties to pro wrestling positioning BPW to engage a fresh audience in an untapped market.
My goal was to design an eye-catching flyer that effectively captures the essence of this groundbreaking event and sets the stage for what is to come. The flyer prominently features beloved and familiar faces, with BPW’s reigning champions taking center stage to emphasize their significance within the organization. Surrounding them is a dynamic blend of talented wrestlers who are set to participate in the series of high-energy matches, showcasing the diverse roster that BPW is proud to present.
Visually, the flyer heavily utilizes a striking combination of deep black and vibrant yellow. This color scheme not only creates a stark contrast that draws the eye but also symbolizes the intense energy and passion that fans can expect at the event. To capture the chaotic nature of both lightning and professional wrestling, the design incorporates abundant lightning motifs—sharp, angular graphics that accentuate the sense of urgency and excitement typical of a BPW show.
The match cards for the event mirror the bold design elements of the main flyer, each adopting a more V-shaped layout that effectively highlights the individual talents set to face off in thrilling matches. This approach ensures that every participant is given a moment to shine while maintaining a cohesive visual identity that resonates with the event's theme of electricity and unpredictability.
Each show is associated with its own theme, which requires all other elements of the event to align accordingly. Some of these elements include a logo loop that displays continuously throughout the event and nameplate graphics for each of the featured talents.
