BPW’s Battleground Blitz 2025
I’m thrilled to share that Battleground Pro Wrestling is bringing back one of its most beloved events, Battleground Blitz! This event is always such a rush, reminiscent of those electrifying battle royals we all love from the big promotions. Just like the WWE’s famous “Royal Rumble,” it’ll have multiple competitors entering the ring at timed intervals, turning it into a wild and unpredictable showdown.
For the event flyer, I made sure to shine a spotlight on several key entrants, from rising stars who are on the verge of breaking through to fan-favorite veterans who have captured everyone’s hearts. I included profiles of the talent involved in our current storylines, aiming to keep things clear and engaging for all the fans. The vibrant yellow I chose for the design brings the energy to life and sets the tone for what’s to come.
I also added a creative touch with a design element of falling numbers, inspired by The Matrix. It not only adds a modern flair but also keeps the anticipation building as we count down to each competitor’s entrance.
In addition to the flyer, I worked on various promotional materials for the event. I put together match cards for all the exciting matches scheduled for the evening, along with individual graphics for each competitor in the Battleground Blitz match—making sure everyone has their moment in the spotlight.
To top it off, I designed a physical ticket that encapsulates the excitement and energy of Battleground Blitz. I want every fan to have a memorable keepsake from this incredible wrestling experience. I can't wait to share this journey with all of you!
In addition to the physical promotional materials, I created a 30-second radio spot for the event. This was a fun experience and provided a refreshing change from the usual items I produce for these events. I look forward to incorporating more radio spots in the future.
Each show is associated with its own theme, which requires all other elements of the event to align accordingly. Some of these elements include a logo loop that displays continuously throughout the event and nameplate graphics for each of the featured talents.
In addition to the logo loop and nameplate graphics, I wanted to ensure that the rules for the Battleground Blitz were clearly communicated to the BPW audience. Therefore, an additional graphic was created to display on the screens at the event while the rules were being read aloud to the audience.
To enhance the excitement of the show, I created a countdown graphic that will be displayed before each new entrant in the Battleground Blitz match. This countdown graphic, paired with a vocal countdown, will encourage the audience to participate by counting down along with it. An audible buzzer will serve as the final cue, signaling the next entrant just before their music plays.
One final piece of promotional content will be a video inviting BPW fans to purchase tickets. I chose a slam style for this video, which aligns with the overall theme of the show. The video will feature tense background music and slam sound effects to create a sense of urgency around ticket purchases for the event.
